A Lot.

Lino Acoustic Planks unlock new, simpler, and more effective ways to combine exceptional acoustic control with genuine wood, providing the appearance of timber planks.

The handful of other acoustic plank systems on the market are prohibitively complex, require wide reveals between planks, a large plenum space, and a blanket of acoustic insulation held in place by a supportive layer of fabric.

Although they may appear simply as natural timber planks, the highly engineered construction of Lino Acoustic Planks results in unprecedented physical and acoustic properties.

Lino Acoustic Planks have no such limitations, enabling both unfettered design freedom and unmatched sound suppression.

Conceal Reveals.

Traditional acoustic planks rely on their reveals to allow sound energy to flow past them into the backloaded acoustic material. Reveals are not a factor in the sound absorption mechanics of Lino Planks. Consequently, they’re the only acoustic planks that offer the option of tight, closed, or open reveals — with no compromise in acoustic performance.

The exceptional adaptability of Lino Planks is because the planks themselves actually absorb sound, whereas other “acoustic planks” are simply normal planks, acting as visual barriers for the real sound absorbing components located behind them.

Since Lino Planks have no plenum or cavity backspace requirements they can be directly mounted to the ceiling (or wall). Due to their light weight and exceptional strength, they can be easily suspended from traditional ceiling grids, without needing extra provisions for the additional weight and warping potential associated with traditional acoustic planks.

Easy & Versatile
Installation

Lino Planks can be mounted directly to a ceiling or attached to a grid using a variety of easy-to-install mounting hardware.

LINO PLANKSINSTALLATION OPTIONS

Suspended Grid
using
Twist Clips

Twist clips are designed for plank systems with open reveals of 1” or greater. The twist clips attach easily to the back of the planks and provide a quick, secure, and visually clean installation.

Suspended Grid
using
Plank Clips

For ceiling planks with tight reveals, Plank Clips are the recommended hardware fastener. The Plank Clips impale securely onto a plank’s edge then fasten to the suspended grid using a self-tapping screw.

Direct Mount
using
Plank Clips

For direct mounting to ceilings, it’s recommended that Plank Clips be fastened to a pre-installed 15/16” hat channel. In certain instances, Plank Clips can be anchored directly into drywall using wide-thread drywall screws.
